Firm recognized in audiovisual category for Operation Rhino project

CHICAGO –  Resolute Consulting is a winner of the prestigious 2012 Gold Quill Award for excellence in business communication, presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).  Resolute Consulting captured an Award of Merit in the audiovisual category for its Operation Rhino project.

Produced by Creative Director Simon Edelman and his creative team, in conjunction with the Chicago Zoological Society, Operation Rhino tells the story of a Brookfield Zoo rhino that finds a new home at Misericordia/Heart of Mercy, a center for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

IABC’s annual Gold Quill Awards program honors the best of the best in business communication, offering professional communicators an opportunity to have their work evaluated by expert judges. The winners represent excellence in organizational communication and their work plans serve as best practices for professional communicators across communication disciplines.

This year’s competition was sponsored by Towers Watson and received nearly 700 entries from 23 countries. The winners were honored at the Gold Quill Awards gala dinner on June 25 at the IABC 2012 World Conference in Chicago.

The Gold Quill Award entries went through two rigorous rounds of judging by top senior communicators from around the world. The final selection was made by the Gold Quill Awards Blue Ribbon Panel of judges in March. To win the Gold Quill Award, Resolute Consulting competed with peers from 23 countries including: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Ecuador, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, the U.K., the U.S. and Venezuela.
