News : Resolute Executive Quoted in International Report on Cyber Security
Executive Vice President Jake Braun included in Security & Defence Agenda (SDA) report
CHICAGO – Resolute Executive Vice President Jake Braun was recently quoted in a prominent report on national and international preparedness for a cyber-attack.
The Security and Defence Agenda (SDA) is a Brussels-based think-tank focused exclusively on defense and security issues. The report, “Cyber-Security: The Vexed Question of Global Rules,” bridges the gap between cyber experts and political decision makers, highlighting the points of contention and important lessons that global leaders need to learn from recent experiences. It is based on over 80 interviews with senior specialists and policy makers and a survey of 250 experts from around the world.
Jake is mentioned for his work building a task force on cyber security in Illinois, the first of its kind in the country. The 12-member task force analyzes Illinois’ preparedness for attacks and identifies ways the state can better protect its infrastructure. Jakes describes the work in the SDA report: “Data in Illinois was all over the place, and we worked on how to secure networks and increase resiliency.”
The report also analyzes the cyber-security strengths and weaknesses of 21 countries.
