Jordan, a seasoned communications strategist and veteran of statewide and local campaigns, works with clients in Resolute's Chicago and Washington, D.C. offices to provide communications, coalition building and crisis management counsel.
Jordan is a former Communications Director for U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel. In that capacity, he oversaw the development and implementation of the Senator's national communications program, including those associated with his activities as a member of the Senate Foreign Relations, Banking, and Intelligence Committees.
At Resolute, he is heavily involved with the firm’s public private partnership (PPP) and infrastructure practice, managing communications efforts for several prominent clients. Jordan draws from his experience building a national coalition for the Dodd-Hagel Infrastructure Bank Act of 2007, which sought to establish a new method for the federal government to finance significant infrastructure projects with public and private capital.
Internationally, Jordan has years of experience interacting with foreign media and dignitaries. He also represented Senator Hagel on a U.S. Congressional staff delegation to the Republic of Korea, traveling the country and meeting with senior government and business officials in efforts to strengthen U.S.-Korean relations.
Prior to joining Resolute, Jordan worked at a top Washington, D.C. crisis communications firm. His past clients include several corporations facing Congressional testimony; a counter-party to BP in the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill; one of the world’s largest military defense contract firms; and a private citizen in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. Before his tenure on Capitol Hill, Stark was a campaign veteran, working on number of state legislature, gubernatorial and U.S. Congressional races in Minnesota, Washington State and elsewhere.
Jordan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from the University of Iowa and studied political science at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
