Dar Vanderbeck Joins as Vice President

ATLANTA - Resolute Consulting, a leading national public affairs and strategic communications firm with offices in Chicago, Columbus, Detroit and Washington, D.C., opened an Atlanta office and hired global communications strategist Dar Vanderbeck as vice president.

Vanderbeck will manage Resolute’s Georgia office and will focus on the firm’s international development practice, helping clients engage stakeholders and facilitate investment in the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa and Central America. In addition, she will provide stakeholder outreach, management consulting, program design and project management counsel to Resolute clients domestically and internationally, with a focus on transition environments.

“We welcome Dar to our team and are excited to be opening an office in such a vibrant city as Atlanta,” said Resolute Consulting's founder and president Greg Goldner. “As Resolute continues to expand, Dar’s breadth of experience working on complex issues in dynamic areas like Egypt and elsewhere will be an invaluable addition to our team.”

Before joining Resolute, Vanderbeck was the Global Communications Coordinator for a global management consulting firm in Atlanta. Prior, she was appointed to the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Office of Transition Initiatives, where she worked as a Program Manager on the Afghanistan Stabilization Initiative. During this role, Vanderbeck also worked on the Asia Middle East team where she focused on transitions in Libya and Syria.

Vanderbeck previously served as Confidential Assistant to the Administrator of USAID where she worked in the White House Liaison Office and helped to coordinate the White House Report on Women and Girls. Prior to her USAID work, she served as Special Assistant to the Foreign Assistance Agency Review Team during the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Project. In this capacity, Vanderbeck worked with a team of policy experts to define the Obama Administration's policies on USAID, MCC and PEPFAR. In 2008, she worked for Obama for America in New Jersey and Florida.

“Resolute is a growing firm, with a diverse team of talented professionals who serve a wide-range of clients,” said Vanderbeck. “I look forward to joining the team and using my background and skills to further develop the firm’s international practice.”
