Fayrouz Saad will lead projects in national security and international practices

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Resolute Consulting recently named former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) advisor Fayrouz Saad Vice President.  She works out of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office to implement communications and outreach programs across the globe.

Fayrouz, who speaks English, Arabic and French, has wide-ranging domestic and international experience in the corporate, non-profit and government sectors.  Last month she served on a U.S. Department of State Mideast review panel for its “Tunisia: Supporting a Democratic Transition” program, where she reviewed proposals designed to help the new government build a participatory, pluralistic and prosperous society.

“Fayrouz’s depth and breadth of communications and outreach experience on national security issues make her an excellent addition to our team,” said Greg Goldner, Resolute Consulting’s Founder and CEO.

Saad previously worked in the DHS Office for Intergovernmental Affairs (IGA), where she served as an advisor to the assistant secretary and helped build the office’s local program, building relationships with local officials for DHS.  Fayrouz also led IGA’s work on Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) and assisted in the Department’s efforts to develop and implement a strategy for CVE.

Prior to joining DHS, Fayrouz worked for the National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC) as the first civic engagement coordinator.  She previously spent over three years working for the State of Michigan, working as a communications advisor and district director in the State House and Senate.
