Columbia College

Columbia College Chicago’s president retained Resolute Consulting in September 2013 to conduct a review of all communications and marketing functions across the College. Subsequently, Resolute’s managing director assumed the role of Interim Vice President of Communications and Marketing for the College while the new administration conducted a national search for the new cabinet-level position. Resolute also worked with Columbia College Chicago’s new president to raise his profile in the Chicago metropolitan area and introduced him to prominent leaders in the Chicago business and civic communities.

The Interim Vice President and Resolute Consulting identified opinion leaders and decision makers with whom the new president should engage; crafted position papers and other documents; developed an outline for governance for a new student-focused website for the College; served on the steering committee for the College’s five-year strategic plan; oversaw institutional communications and marketing functions, including branding, digital strategies, publications, creative services, and media relations; and reorganized communications and marketing functions to better serve the College.
