Project Description

Amy Gooden

Vice President

Amy ranks among the nation’s leading political researchers and brings decades of winning hard-fought political campaigns and leading public policy projects to Resolute’s clients.

Amy served as Research Director at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, working on U.S. Senate campaigns and for the Committee’s independent expenditure advertising efforts in more than a dozen competitive races nationwide. She helped the Committee defy expectations in back to back cycles by protecting the Senate majority and picking up seats with a thorough and hard-hitting research and communications strategy.

She has also served as an advisor to Members of Congress and candidates at all levels, preparing for and managing political crisis incidents through careful scenario planning, forward-thinking research, and communications strategy.

At Resolute, Amy serves as a client lead and provides high-level counsel on strategic communications, research, and political risk assessment. Her expertise includes message development, leading rapid response teams who specialize in mobilizing and distributing information quickly, and debate and speech preparation.

Prior to joining Resolute, Amy worked at a political media and strategic communications firm, designing and executing paid and earned media campaigns for candidates, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations. Her work earned the firm two Pollie awards and a Reed award, the political industry’s most prestigious honors.
