Effectively communicating change to internal audiences
PROJECT: Northwestern Medicine is one of the country’s premier academic medical center hospitals. Resolute was asked to effectively communicate significant internal staffing and benefits changes to all employees.
STRATEGY: These were sensitive, delicate issues that needed to be communicated in a straightforward and strong, yet reassuring, way. It was critical the communications were phased in a way that set the changes into motion, while allowing time for employee feedback and response. We also made sure the fairly complex benefits information was delivered in a clear, concise way.
OUTCOME: Over a roll-out of several weeks, we worked directly with senior HR leaders to inform employees of the changes, the rationale behind the changes and the vision for the future. As a result, employees were seamlessly on-boarded to the new system with little frustration or negative feedback.
