Armando is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in public affairs, marketing and project management. His particular strength is establishing positive business relationships with civic, community, and government agency representatives on behalf of corporate clients, with a focus on development and infrastructure projects.
Prior to joining Resolute three years ago, Armando was with Bechtel Infrastructure Corporation, as public affairs manager and subsequently manager for marketing and business development for the Midwest.
He also served as senior government and community relations officer at the Chicago Transit Authority. While at Unzelman & Associates, he was the public affairs manager for the $762 million reconstruction of Midway Airport.
Armando was also chief of staff to Cook County Commissioner Joseph Mario Moreno and administered programs for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. He began his career as a journalist at Extra Bilingual Community Newspaper.
