Resolute Consulting was pleased to co-host His Excellency Han Duk-soo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the United States, at a recent reception.

His Excellency Han Duk-soo spoke on the topic of Free Trade and business opportunities between the U.S. and the Republic of Korea. Resolute's co-hosts were the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, DLA Piper and World Business Chicago.   

In his address, His Excellency spoke about how the US-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) would create business opportunities for both nations. He noted The Republic of Korea’s interest in the U.S. agricultural and automotive industries and expressed how his experience traveling through the Midwest, particularly here in Illinois, had solidified the importance of garnering support for this agreement, given that even small companies will benefit.  

After his speech, His Excellency took time to answer questions, so that everyone would better understand the impact that the FTA will have.
