CHICAGO – Resolute Consulting has been nominated for two Emmy® Awards for the 2010-2011 53^rd Annual Chicago/Midwest Chapter’s National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The Chicago/Midwest chapter is one of the largest and most senior local chapters in the country, with a proud history of innovation and excellence in the field of broadcast television and beyond. The Chapter hosts an annual Emmy® Awards ceremony to recognize outstanding achievements in television.

Resolute Consulting’s nominations are in two categories for videos Creative Director Simon Edelman produced for Resolute clients. Edelman has been nominated for the Outstanding Achievement for Public Affairs/Current Affairs Programming – Feature Segment for his Operation Rhino video. The Operation Rhino segment captures “a never-before” filmed activity: an official rhino transport at the Brookfield Zoo in suburban Chicago. In less than three weeks, the three-minute video was viewed by more than 8,300 people on the Zoo’s YouTube channel and was shared by more than 380 Facebook users.

Resolute Consulting was also nominated for Edelman’s Facts Don’t Lie video in the Outstanding Achievement for Community/Public Service (PSAs) – Single Spot/Campaign category. The Facts Don’t Lie video highlights the truth behind red light cameras with real facts and real people. Compelling data interspersed with horrifying footage of real accidents make it hard for the viewer to deny the significant impact a red light camera can have on their own lives, families and communities.
