Holly brings more than 20 years of experience in local broadcast journalism as well as statewide and national media relations to her communications and media management work at Resolute. She focuses on strategic communications, media relations and issue advocacy in the public and private sectors.
Before joining Resolute, Holly served as Deputy Communications Director at the Ohio Board of Regents/University System of Ohio, and previously as Director of Media Relations in the offices of Ohio Attorney General and Ohio Treasurer of State, achieving earned media placement at all levels – from highly-trusted hyper-local community newspapers to the New York Times, Reuters news agency, Wall Street Journal, CBS Evening News, NBC Nightly News, and live interviews on CNBC, FOX Business Network and MSNBC.
Holly has developed and delivered media training for public sector employees including instruction for local law enforcement delivered through the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy. Her previous work included positions as local news anchor, reporter and producer at network-owned and -affiliated television stations around Ohio: WCMH-TV/NBC/Columbus, WTVG-TV/ABC/Toledo, WEWS-TV/ABC/Cleveland, and WKYC-TV/NBC/Cleveland.
Holly was recognized with the Business First ‘Forty Under 40’ award in 2007, and numerous industry awards including regional Emmy Award nominations in 2004, 2000, 1999, and 1998, the Ohio Pharmacists Association Broadcast Media Award, the Central Ohio CrimeStoppers Media CrimeStopper of the Year, and a Women In Communications Crystal Award. Holly holds a bachelor’s degree in television programming, production and performance from Ashland University.
