Jim is experienced in creating and implementing public outreach programs at the state and national levels, specializing in issue advocacy campaigns.

He works with and leads state, regional and national coalitions, promoting issues as diverse as aerospace, energy, healthcare, transportation, public safety and finance.  He also helps develop and implement communications and outreach plans for clients in the private, non-profit and public sectors.

Prior to joining Resolute, Jim served as regional manager for the Illinois State Treasurer's Office, where he designed and managed economic development programs and acted as the office liaison to regional councils of mayors, chambers of commerce and state and local elected officials. On the campaign front, Jim was the field director for Judy Baar Topinka's gubernatorial race in 2006 and has worked numerous local races over the past 15 years.  He began his career as legislative liaison in the office of the City Clerk of Chicago, serving members of the City Council, local chambers of commerce and community-based economic development and business organizations.

Jim is a member of the Norwood Life Care board of directors, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago affiliate board, and member of the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago.  He is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in history and political science.
