Rob is a seasoned communicator in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, including issue advocacy, coalition building, public policy, regulatory and approval processes, and media relations.  He provides Resolute clients with practical insight about the most effective way to engage elected officials, business and community organizations, and the media. 

As executive vice president, Rob oversees many client campaigns, offering strategic counsel and managing Resolute’s project teams. He leads firm programs to organize third-party advocates, coalitions and events around public policy issues.  He oversees campaigns to affect regulatory and approval processes in a variety of areas such as zoning and TIF land use regulations, IEPA and ICC environmental regulations, and public transportation regulations.  His subject matter expertise includes telecommunications, energy, real estate, land use and transportation, such as Resolute’s award-winning 2008 “Moving Beyond Congestion” campaign for the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA).  

Prior to joining Resolute, Rob was government relations director for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and was an aide to the Hon. Michael J. Madigan, Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives.

Rob serves on the board of directors for the Lakeview YMCA, and is a member of the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago and Democratic Leadership for the 21st Century (DL21C).  He has a bachelor's degree in English and political science from Marquette University.
