Resolute Consulting is a national public affairs and strategic communications firm with a reputation for achieving exceptional results for our clients.  We are leaders in issue advocacy, coalition building, grassroots organizing and moving stakeholders to action.
Resolute is looking for an entrepreneurial, performance-driven community organizer for a short-term position based in our Chicago headquarters.  This individual will work with Resolute’s award-winning team of public affairs specialists to build, grow and engage a broad coalition of stakeholders in and around Chicago to support a citywide issue advocacy campaign.
This is an initial three-month engagement with potential for an extension or full-time position at Resolute.  The monthly retainer will be commensurate with the individual’s experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong background in community organizing, coalition building and/or stakeholder engagement
  • Experience working on political or issues campaigns in the City of Chicago
  • Knowledge and understanding of the City of Chicago’s political environment and network of local influencers
  • Effective interpersonal and persuasive communications skills
  • Organizational skills to identify and track stakeholder engagement
  • Self-motivating attitude focused on impact and success
Resolute clients typically do business in a competitive marketplace of issues and ideas – and successful candidates must be comfortable promoting specific points of view.
