Dave is a seasoned, innovative communications strategist and dynamic relationship builder who provides the voice of reason and inspiration to our client teams. His long-standing clients rely on his creative problem solving and tenacious approach to their work.
A uniquely qualified trusted advisor, Dave is one of the firm’s leading crisis communications experts who has led the planning, counsel and execution for high-visibility and mission-critical events and issues. He has deep experience managing public affairs campaigns, media relations and special events. Dave recently completed Harvard University’s Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age premier certification program.
Recent Client Engagements: Dave serves as the client lead on a number of projects including Reyes Holdings, Republic Services, Tribune Media, CRRC Sifang America, and Medical Home Network.
Dave directs Resolute’s day-to-day business operations including client services. His results-driven management helps ensure the highest levels of quality and accountability across the firm. His engaged, intuitive leadership creates a collaborative, client-centered environment.
Prior to joining Resolute, Dave was a senior communicator at Kemper Insurance and the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America. At Kemper, Dave was responsible for all internal and external communications for business units, including small business and middle market. He also managed the company’s corporate communications, working closely with Kemper’s C-Suite executives.
Dave has been recognized with industry awards including the Chicago/Midwest Emmy Publicity Club of Chicago, Bulldog Reporter, Public Relations Society of America, PR News and the International Association of Business Communicators. He serves on the Board of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Chicago/Midwest chapter. He serves on the board of the Chicago Area Public Affairs Group. He is also a former President of the Publicity Club of Chicago.
