Repositioning a brand in a time of transition
PROJECT: Higher One is a publicly-traded education company managing the financial and data systems for 1,900+ colleges and universities. After controversies in the industry, the arrival of a new CEO and executive team provided a natural opportunity to reposition the company among students, colleges and universities, regulators, media and investors.
STRATEGY: Resolute developed a comprehensive strategic communications campaign to support Higher One’s introduction of the new CEO, share his vision for the company and begin to rebuild trust and credibility with audiences.
OUTCOME: Resolute produced “Students First,” an award-winning video viewed by administrators, staff, and students at more than 1,000 colleges and universities working with the company. During our engagement, Resolute also advised and executed on transition management during a sale of part of the company’s business and crisis communications.
