Armando is one of the country’s leading experts on community outreach and public engagement. He is renowned for his ability to step into any community across the country, read the political environment, identify the key stakeholders on an issue and build strategic campaigns that engage support for a client’s issue.
At Resolute, Armando applies his expertise in public policy issues, community development and marketing to client efforts that require coalition building, public education and field organizing.
Prior to joining Resolute, Armando directed public affairs programs at Bechtel Infrastructure Corporation, where he also managed marketing and business development for the Midwest. In addition, Armando was senior government and community relations officer at the Chicago Transit Authority, and public affairs manager at Unzelman & Associates. During his tenure at Unzelman, he managed the public affairs program for the $750-million expansion of Chicago’s Midway Airport.
Armando began his career as a journalist at Extra Bilingual Community Newspaper.
