Prior to founding Resolute in 2002, Greg served in Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley’s office and as managing deputy commissioner for the City of Chicago’s Department of General Services. He has managed dozens of campaigns at the municipal, county, state and federal levels, including Rahm Emanuel’s first race for Congress and Mayor Daley’s 2003 re-election campaign. In 2008, Greg worked on Barack Obama Presidential Campaign in Ohio.

Prior to joining Resolute, Dave was a senior communicator at Kemper Insurance and the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America. At Kemper Dave was responsible for all internal and external communications for business units, including small business and middle market. He also managed the company’s corporate communications, working closely with Kemper’s C-Suite executives.
Dave has been recognized with industry awards including the Chicago/Midwest Emmy Publicity Club of Chicago, Bulldog Reporter, Public Relations Society of America, PR News and the International Association of Business Communicators. Rob Nash Partner, Executive Vice President
Rob is the leading expert on running issue advocacy campaigns in Illinois. Insightful and strategic, Rob has an extensive and sharply perceptive view of the Illinois ecosystem, understanding the politics and the players, the communities and the issues and how to align it all to help clients achieve their goals. Rob’s natural analytical skill is informed by years of problem solving in politics and government affairs.
Recent Engagements: Rob was the client lead for the American Beverage Association Can the Tax Campaign, that recently secured the repeal of the Cook County Beverage Tax. He provides strategic consulting to several clients including Sterling Bay Lincoln Yards, Illinois Beverage Association, CSI, and the Obama Foundation. At Resolute, Rob develops strategies that encompass complex legislative initiatives, moving through political hurdles and maneuvering around unforeseen obstacles to shape decisions that drive success for our clients.
He manages a team of client service professionals day-to-day and provides strategic counsel to clients across a spectrum of industries, leading issue advocacy and earned media campaigns and advising clients on the most effective ways to secure regulatory and other approvals at the local, state and federal levels. His sector expertise includes energy, telecommunications, real estate and land use, and transportation.
Rob led Resolute’s award-winning “Moving Beyond Congestion” campaign on behalf of the Regional Transportation Authority and has led efforts on behalf of McDonald’s, Uber, CTA, Google and American Beverage Association.
Prior to joining Resolute, Rob was director of government relations for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, and was an aide to the Hon. Michael J. Madigan, Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives.
Alan Solow Senior Advisor
A respected thought leader and strategic problem solver, Alan can navigate clients through the toughest courtroom, the complexity of Washington or a community conflict. A former partner at DLA Piper, Alan has spent much of his career representing the financial services industry and is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy.
Alan has a long history of working with and advising elected officials and candidates on critical issues of policy and strategy. In 2012, he served as a National Co-Chair of the Obama–Biden campaign, acting as a surrogate for President Obama with a focus on issues of importance to the Jewish and business communities. In both 2008 and 2012, he was a charter member of the Obama National Finance Committee. He maintains relationships with a broad array of federal, state and local elected officials.
Solow is also an accomplished civic leader. He is the immediate past chairman of the board of Interfaith Youth Core and is also a past Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, the umbrella group for more than 50 other agencies.

Recent Client Engagements: Ann directs the creative work on all client projects. She oversaw all the collateral and communication materials for the American Beverage Association’s Can the Tax Campaign. She played a key creative and strategic role on the Build South Central Campaign for the Phoenix Light Rail Extension. She led the award-winning rebranding for Grant Park Music Festival and developed numerous communication pieces for McDonald’s, Tribune Media and United States Hospitality Group. She recently completed the rebranding campaign for Learn Charter School Network and Argo Consulting. She has created a signature fund-raising piece for Navy Pier and Lane Tech College Prep.

A leading strategist and senior public affairs executive, Ami has over 17 years of diverse experience developing and executing strategies and building teams that meet and exceed policy, regulatory, communications, and development goals. He has collaborated with hundreds of key decision makers in Congress, governors and local elected officials on critical economic issues including climate and energy, immigration, tax, trade, and budget priorities.

Prior to joining Resolute, Ami served as Executive Director of Business Forward, a national business trade group that is active in over 100 cities around the country working with over 100,000 local business leaders and executives. It is supported by over 60 of the country’s largest and most respected companies.
Ami served as Deputy National Finance Director for Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign and Senior Finance Advisor to the Democratic National Committee during the 2008 presidential election cycle. His participation in nearly every aspect of the Obama for America Finance Department led to an all-time high contribution record and culminated in the election of President Barack Obama.
In 2009, Ami was a founding Partner at New Partners Consulting where he advised dozens of corporations, non-profits, and campaigns by providing strategic direction, overseeing successful fundraising operations, and creating and managing advocacy efforts.
Ami began his political career working for Senator Tom Harkin’s reelection campaign. He then held leadership positions at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and the reelection campaigns of Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle and Senator Bill Nelson.
Before launching his professional political career, Ami lived abroad, obtained the rank of First Sergeant in the Israeli Defense Forces and worked as an investment banker and business journalist in Europe.

David is trusted strategic thinker and communicator whose signature legislative experience and deep understanding of how to interact with regulators and decision makers at all levels of government secures outstanding results for our clients.
Recent Projects. David provides ongoing strategic counsel to McDonald’s. He served as the communications director for the American Beverage Association’s successful Can the Tax Campaign and provides communications support to the Illinois Beverage Association. David also works as Resolute’s client lead for the firm’s work with Northwestern Medicine, McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and the Gary/Chicago International Airport Authority.
At Resolute, David guides public and private sector clients through the development of complex, multi-layered communications and engagement strategies to advance their business, legislative and political priorities. This includes high-level crisis communications and issues campaigns. His long-time relationships in Congress, government agencies, regulators, attorneys and lobbyists can be crucial to any process that shapes decisions and achieves clients’ goals.
Prior to joining Resolute, David was chief of staff and senior policy adviser to a Member of the United States Congress. He served as an associate staff member of the House Committee on Rules and was staff director of the House Subcommittee on Legislative and Budget Process. During his time on Capitol Hill, David focused on energy, environment, agriculture, water, transportation and tax issues. He was also a legislative aide in Michigan to a state senator.
David has been widely quoted locally and nationally, including in The Washington Post, NPR, Bloomberg News, Chicago Tribune, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. He has also spoken before groups throughout the country and Europe on energy, environmental, transportation and water policy, as well as the role of religion in politics.

Anne-Marie St. Germaine Senior Advisor
Anne-Marie has a distinctive genius for understanding the environment in which a client operates, identifying key influencers, and creating powerful strategic solutions that transform organizations. With particular experience in complex, high-visibility initiatives, Anne-Marie has guided hundreds of communications and public engagement campaigns and counseled on crisis- and change management.
As a Senior Advisor to Resolute, Anne-Marie consults on public affairs, strategic communications, and organizational branding. She advises Fortune 100 executives, not-for-profit leaders, and public officials on a spectrum of policy issues, including economic and community development, education and culture, environment and energy, and real estate and land use. She is a seasoned campaign strategist and has worked extensively in Illinois and on behalf of interests in New York, Washington D.C., the United Kingdom and the People’s Republic of China.
Anne-Marie is also sought after for her exceptional skills at media and message training and presidential debate preparation. Emily Pevnick Senior Account Executive
Emily brings an extraordinary wealth of experience in managing relationships with foreign governments and private sector stakeholders. For almost four years she strengthened political, academic, economic and cultural ties between Chicago and its international partners.
At Resolute, Emily uses her deep understanding of government affairs and her strategic sensibility about deploying the right people with the right message to help shape Chicago as a global city. She supports of a wide range of clients in both the private and nonprofit sectors.
Emily Berman Pevnick, the former deputy director for Strategic Partnerships and Global Affairs in the Office of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, has joined Resolute Consulting.
During her tenure in the Mayor’s Office, Emily developed international strategic messaging, marketing materials, and agreements with global cities and partners. She was responsible for planning high-level foreign visits and conferences in Chicago for seven heads of state and 40 mayors. She helped manage numerous Mayoral trips abroad, including to China, Europe, Mexico, and Canada. She served as international point of contact for World Business Chicago, Chicago Aldermen, City of Chicago departments, and 85 foreign consulate offices. She also worked closely with the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Development and the former Office of Public Engagement to identify strategic areas of community engagement.
Prior to serving in the Mayor’s Office, Emily was the Area Director for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) where she led grassroots, political, advocacy and development work for Minnesota, Indiana and Iowa. She worked on policy initiatives with donors and Members of Congress, led advocacy training sessions for 600+ donors, and created business plans and leadership structures for each state. Earlier positions with AIPAC included Midwest Deputy Regional Political Director, where she led political donor engagement in nine states, developed reports on Middle East affairs and Midwest political races for senior regional staff, and served as keynote speaker for donors about current political and policy issues in the U.S. and Middle East. She started her career as a National Field Organizer for AIPAC in Washington, D.C.
Emily is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington where she received a B.A. in Philosophy and Jewish Studies, magna cum laude. She is active on young leadership boards of organizations serving the needs of women and girls and the Jewish community, including Jewish Women International, the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, Chicago Foundation for Women, CityPAC and American Friends of the Technion.
Lauren Whalley Senior Account Executive
Lauren excels in activating teams, driving strategy, and keeping campaigns moving toward success. A highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver, she works with clients across sectors and public policy issues. An excellent researcher, writer and project manager, she helps develop and implement communications and outreach plans for Resolute’s clients.
Lauren previously worked for the (academic) Department of Communication at the University of Illinois in several capacities including social media adviser, researcher and teaching assistant. In addition, she was an earned and social media relations specialist at a suburban Chicago business. A former Resolute intern, Lauren also interned as an editorial assistant with a regional media company.
She is a member of the Ravinia Associates Board and serves as vice president of communications for the alumni of the University of Illinois Student Alumni Ambassadors organization.
Adam Hitchcock Senior Advisor
Adam Hitchcock is an investor and advisor whose career has spanned finance and politics. He is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sovereign Infrastructure Group, a global infrastructure investment business. He serves as a Senior Advisor at Resolute Consulting, a national public affairs firm.
Previously, he was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, reporting to the executive chairman. Before entering finance, Adam worked in political campaigns and government. He served in the Obama White House in the Office of the Chief of Staff and the Council of Economic Advisers. Before joining the Obama White House, Adam was on the Obama-Biden White House Transition Project and the Obama 2008 presidential campaign. Previously, he worked for Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley.
Adam is a member of the Dean’s Council at Indiana University’s School of Global and International Studies, is on the Board of Advisors at the Truman National Security Project, serves on the Studies Committee at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and is a member of the Atlantic Council. He was a lecturer at the University of Chicago for four years teaching a class on global macro.
He is involved with the non-profit community in Chicago serving on the board of Urban Initiatives and leadership council of A Better Chicago. Adam earned his B.A. from Indiana University and J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
Ron Moultrie Senior Advisor – Cyber Lead
Ron is a highly-respected, former Senior National Security Official who spent well over three decades serving in the United States Government. As the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Director of Operations, Ron was the leader of what is arguably the world’s most capable, technically adept, and globally dispersed Cyber organization. Ron was entrusted with providing vital insights to the President of the United States, Senior Policymakers, and Key Allies around the world and was accountable for over the half of NSA’s workforce and multibillion dollar annual budgets.
At Resolute, Ron will lead our team of trusted advisors – cyber security strategists and crisis communications executives – who will provide clients with exceptional access and insight on security issues and the highest level of communications strategies.
While in government, Ron served in several of the U.S.’ most challenging national security assignments including as a member of CIA’s Senior Intelligence Service (SIS), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the United States military as a Russian Linguist, and as NSA’s Director of Operations. Ron was the first African American (and minority) in NSA’s history to lead its global operations and is also one of the Agency’s most decorated officers.
Ron serves on a number of Boards and is very actively engaged in charitable activities.
Ashley Lynch Senior Account Executive
Ashley is a disciplined process-oriented professional with a strategic approach to building and implementing communications and outreach plans for clients. She has a deep understanding of how communities and government interact and uses her knowledge to overcome issues and help clients achieve their goals.
Ashley has extensive experience on a wide variety of client initiatives across industries and sectors on local, state, and federal policy issues. She works on the development and implementation of issue advocacy campaigns, grassroots advocacy, local and national coalition building and media relations.
Prior to joining Resolute, Ashley worked at the Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center affiliated with Arizona State University, where she focused on public program and policy evaluation to mitigate health disparities in minority communities and improve quality of life. Ashley interned with the Arizona Council of Human Service Providers, where she supported strategic planning, legislative advocacy and organizational development.
Ashley is also a part-time Faculty Associate at the Arizona State University. She teaches a graduate level course to students enrolled in the School of Social Work, part of the College of Public Service and Community Solutions at ASU. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Public Relations Society of America – Phoenix Chapter, the third largest chapter in the nation. She was recently selected to participate in Arizona’s distinguished 2018 SheLEADS program, a competitive program for high-impact women invested in career success, community and each other.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Northern Iowa, and a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Policy, Administration and Communities from ASU.

Adam is recognized for his ability to navigate complicated, often contentious, legislative, policy, fiscal and economic development issues and implement a coherent strategy to educate and persuade both internal and external stakeholders.
At Resolute, Adam brings over 15 years of experience in government and public affairs to our clients, with a keen focus on strategic planning, community engagement, legislative affairs and political management.
Prior to joining Resolute, Adam was Chief of Staff in Chicago’s 43rdWard, where he managed key sectors such as economic development, land use planning, fiscal and public policy and stakeholder engagement.
He also served in a key management role in downtown Chicago’s 42ndWard, a district that represents the heart of Chicago’s economy and oversaw the key sectors of external affairs, infrastructure and transportation.

National political strategist Tony Cani has joined Resolute Consulting as a Vice President. An experienced political consultant and campaign manager, Tony has held leadership roles in both government and with public advocacy organizations.
Most recently, Tony served as campaign manager for Kate Gallego, who was elected in March 2019 as Mayor of Phoenix, the nation’s fifth largest city. In a highly competitive race, Tony successfully navigated more than a million dollars in attack ads against his candidate securing a 17 percent victory.
Prior to the Gallego campaign, Tony served as Political and Advocacy Director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona where he built from scratch a new department responsible for non-partisan public policy and advocacy engagement at the municipal, county, and state levels. From 2010 until 2012 he worked as national political director for the Sierra Club in Washington, D.C., the nation’s most enduring and influential grassroots environmental organization.
His government experience includes serving as the Senior Policy Advisor to former Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton where he managed the policy team and oversaw high-priority projects including those related to inter-governmental cooperation, transportation infrastructure, land use, water and sustainability. He also served in a similar role in the office of the Mayor for the City of Tempe. His early political experience includes being an early innovator in digital organizing for the Arizona Democratic Party and managing campaign operations as the National Political Director for Young Democrats of America.
Tony is a graduate of Arizona State University with a B.S. in Political Science. He is a fellow of the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy and a Security Fellow of the Truman National Security Project.
Samantha Moody joined Resolute in 2018 and works with a variety of clients on issue campaigns, coalition building and media relations. She previously worked as a Strategic Partnerships and Global Affairs Intern in the Office of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, which provided her with an insider’s look at the complexities of City Hall. Prior to that, she worked as a political intern through the Sierra Club on Gretchen Driskell’s campaign for Congress in Lansing, Michigan. She is a graduate of the Michigan State University’s James Madison College, where she earned a B.A. in Comparative Cultures and Politics.
